Join LMSCL as a Support Worker on a casual basis, focusing on client independence and development in Greater Vancouver areas. Adaptable day and night shifts offered.
This role is designed for individuals passionate about supporting clients with developmental disabilities. You will temporarily fill shifts left by regular staff, utilizing skills in behavior support and independent living strategies. Proper training will be given, ensuring competency in assisting clients with high levels of challenge in various community settings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide daily living support and training to clients
• Assist in recreational and social activities
• Lift and transfer clients as needed
• Work in various Greater Vancouver locations
• Collaborate on positive behavior programs
Requirements:
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities
• Educational background in social services or related fields
• Valid criminal and medical clearances
• First Aid/CPR and Food Safe certifications
• Must be eligible to work in Canada
