ROLE REQUIRED EDUCATION & CERTIFICATION(S) Current registered member in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario Paediatric and adult assessment, including triage and Acuity Scale 12 lead ECG Interpretation Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE(S) Ability to work independently, with excellent communication skills Ability to plan, organize and problem solve DESIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE(S) & EDUCATION Recent clinical experience (minimum two years) in Emergency/Critical Care Nursing preferred Advance Paediatric Life Support (APLS) or Paediatric Advance Life Support (PALS) Clinical Nurse Educators that offer on-site training Clinical Scholars available for on unit assistance and questions Preceptor/Peer Mentorship Opportunities Team-oriented Team Environment Nurse Support Line (Experienced Nurses or Registered Respiratory Therapists available for advice on non-emergent issues) Enrolment in the Healthcare of Ontario Pension Plan (HOOPP) Extended Health/Semi Private and Dental Benefits (for Part-time and Full-time only)
