As a full time, permanent Social Worker, you're tasked with addressing the unique mental health and addiction challenges faced by Black Francophone youth. In this role, you will conduct assessments and deliver therapy to empower clients aged 12 to 24 years while acknowledging the intersectionality of their experiences. Engagement with families and community partners is crucial for holistic service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions
• Perform case management for complex youth needs
• Oversee the training of social work students
• Provide consultation for other professionals
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
• Master’s of Social Work and 3 years post-graduate experience
• Active membership in Ontario College of Social Workers
• Bilingual (French/English) proficiency
• Familiarity with the Youth Criminal Justice System
• Demonstrated skills in community engagement
