Summary of Duties The RN is responsible for the total care of a group of residents within a primary nursing care delivery model. The RN supports the Philosophy of Patient Centred Care concept and principles and the Mission and Values of Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre.
The RN works closely with other members of the multidisciplinary team. Qualifications/Skills Current Ontario CNO Registration Current B.C.L.S. Demonstrated commitment to Person-Centred Care principles and approach Previous experience working in a Geriatric setting essential Ability to function in an interdisciplinary setting as a primary nurse Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work effectively and therapeutically in a setting with residents with mental illness Robust assessment skills Ability to work effectively as a team player Computer skills required
