Step into a purpose-driven leadership role with WSP as a Wildlife Group Manager leading the Prairies & North Wildlife team. This position requires solid people management and technical expertise across diverse environmental projects.
As Wildlife Group Manager, you'll inspire a high-performing team while shaping strategies and enhancing wildlife services across infrastructure, mining, and energy sectors. Your focus will include project delivery, mentorship, and business development in a cooperative workplace.
You will report directly to the Director of Ecology and EIA, facilitating integrated solutions for client needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a dedicated team of wildlife professionals
Ensure project delivery and client satisfaction
Promote mentorship and career development practices
Collaborate with Directors and Group Managers for optimal resource use
Uphold safety, health, and environmental commitments
Requirements:
Bachelor's in Biology, Ecology, or related field
Minimum 8 years in environmental consulting
Leadership experience in multidisciplinary teams
Knowledge of Western Canada's environmental regulations
Valid driver’s license and travel willingness
