In this position, you will work directly under the Senior Coordinator of Fitness & Wellness, delivering group classes that encourage member participation. Your ability to adapt exercises for various abilities will play a critical role in fostering an inviting setting. Collaborate with other team members to align programs with the goals of participants.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct creative and adaptive group fitness classes
• Foster an inclusive atmosphere for all attendees
• Build rapport with members, fostering community connections
• Monitor client activities,
ensuring proper guidance
• Assist with administrative duties as required
Requirements:
• Enrollment or graduation in Kinesiology, Physical Education, or fitness-related field
• Valid Group Fitness Certification from a recognized body
• Over one year experience in group fitness instruction
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Weekend and evening availability for classes
