In this independent contractor position, you will support resident well-being by developing tailored nutrition plans and engaging with interdisciplinary teams. You will conduct assessments and provide evidence-based interventions that enhance the quality of life. Key Responsibilities:
• Design specialized menus focused on therapeutic needs
• Perform nutritional assessments and recommend interventions
• Deliver effective education to residents and families
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for holistic care
• Identify and mitigate nutrition and hydration risks
Requirements:
• Degree from an accredited Food and Nutrition program
• Member of College of Dietitians of Ontario/British Columbia
• Minimum 2 years in Long Term Care experience
• Understanding of dietary and nutrition regulations
• Experience with diverse dietary needs and health conditions
