In this full-time, permanent role within the Cut & Sew department, you will be responsible for both operation and setup of automated cutting machines. Your capability to read assembly drawings and select materials accurately will enhance the efficiency of our production process. Solid communication skills will help in liaising with other departments seamlessly.
Key Responsibilities:
• Set up and operate cutting machines for textiles
• Comprehend 2D assembly drawings for production
• Determine correct napping of materials for cuts
• Measure and inspect incoming materials for defects
• Maintain logs for inventory management purposes
Requirements:
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving
• Good physical condition for lifting 60 lbs.
• Experience with manual dexterity in machine operations
• Quick learning ability for computer software
• Flexibility for overtime as required
