This role involves teaching and developing curriculum under the guidance of the Architecture, Construction & Civil Chair at Algonquin Center for Construction Excellence. Your responsibilities will include updating courses, delivering instruction, and providing academic leadership to enhance student learning and success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and update courses with stakeholder engagement
• Deliver lectures during designated terms effectively
• Provide tutoring and monitor student progress
• Engage in departmental meetings and collaborations
• Incorporate educational technologies in learning environments
Requirements:
• Requires a valid 403A Red Seal General Carpenter Certificate
• Five years of practical experience in General Carpentry
• Two years of postsecondary teaching experience preferable
• Knowledge of Codes and Specifications as an asset
