Become an Intake Worker at Strides Toronto, dedicated to facilitating mental health services for children and youth. This full time role offers hybrid flexibility and requires your expertise in triaging service inquiries.

As part of the Help Ahead program, you will receive and process referrals from various stakeholders. Your role involves engaging with clients and determining their needs to route them appropriately for further assistance. Your professionalism, knowledge of mental health disorders, and strong customer service skills will directly influence the effectiveness of our support services across Toronto.

Key Responsibilities:
• Manage inquiries via multiple channels, ensuring timely responses
• Conduct initial assessments to determine eligibility for services




• Document all activities in the designated client information system
• Ensure privacy compliance with PHIPA regulations
• Work collaboratively with cross-sectoral service partners

Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in a related field
• Minimum three years working with children and families
• Comprehensive knowledge of child mental health
• Skills in crisis intervention and de-escalation
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
