The Saskatchewan Health Authority is seeking a Social Worker, BSW, to provide community mental health counseling for children and youth. Advocate and educate to enhance community health.
You will work under the direction of the Director of Community Health Services, integrating Saskatchewan Health Authority's policies with your expertise in mental health services. Your main responsibilities include delivering counseling, consulting, and advocating for individuals in Child and Youth Mental Health Programs. Your role is vital in promoting mental health education across the community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver community mental health counseling for youth
• Engage in public mental health education and promotion
• Implement advocacy measures for client support
• Ensure comprehensive case management assessments
• Foster innovation in service delivery and problem-solving
Requirements:
• Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) needed
• A minimum of 1 year postgraduate experience in community MHAS
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license
• Robust competencies in organization and analysis
• Knowledge of mental health issues and assessments
