As part of the Ministry of Community Safety, you will aid in reducing recidivism and enhancing safety at Saskatchewan Hospital North Battleford. Candidates must embody values like integrity and adaptability while maintaining facility security and supporting offender rehabilitation. This position offers a paid 11-week Induction Training Program upon hire.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and manage offenders daily
• Conduct security checks and patrols within the facility
• Engage in case management and support programming
• Utilize knowledge of mental health for effective interventions
• Respond appropriately to incidents and challenges
Requirements:
• Degree in Social Sciences or related discipline
• Valid Saskatchewan Class 5 driver’s license
• First Aid and CPR/AED certification
• Knowledge of the Canadian criminal justice system
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups
