This role at Long & McQuade requires you to deliver engaging guitar lessons to a diverse student base in Nanaimo, BC. You will work independently, utilizing your prior teaching experience and knowledge of effective lesson strategies. Applicants should have relevant music qualifications and an enthusiasm for teaching others.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide guitar lessons tailored to individual student needs
• Implement curriculum and proven teaching methods
• Evaluate and track student development regularly
• Create an encouraging and interactive class atmosphere
• Coordinate with fellow instructors if needed

Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in music preferred
• At least Grade 8 RCM with Grade 2 Rudiments
• Experience teaching various ages and skill levels
• Familiarity with standard lesson practices
• Must be available to teach on weekends
