Become an integral part of SaskEnergy as an Operations Technician. This full time role is focused on gas facility operations, customer service, and emergency situations.

As an Operations Technician Qualifying Position (OTQP), you will receive comprehensive training and oversight from experienced technicians. Your responsibilities will include servicing gas appliances, handling customer inquiries, and performing crucial maintenance on gas systems. This role offers opportunities for personal growth while actively supporting public safety and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct maintenance and troubleshooting on gas system equipment
• Handle complaints and emergency calls from customers
• Collect data on gas service installations and layouts




• Promote the safe use of natural gas with the public
• Inspect excavation work around underground facilities

Requirements:
• Must have Grade 12 or an equivalent
• Must hold a valid Class 5 driver’s license
• Must provide a doctor’s certificate validating physical fitness
• Pre-Qualifying Assessment completion required
• Availability for travel and standby requirements
