Strive Living Society is hiring a Casual Community Support Worker in West Kelowna. This part-time role provides vital support to adults, aiming to enhance their independence and quality of life.

As a Community Support Worker in our Supported Independent Living program, your focus will be on assisting individuals with complex needs and promoting their engagement within the community. You will work during weekdays, primarily from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., while offering tailored support that reflects individual abilities and aspirations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist adults with diverse abilities in community settings
• Support clients through structured rehabilitation approaches
• Develop and promote person-centered plans




• Facilitate emotional regulation and skill development
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams

Requirements:
• Proven experience in supporting individuals with behavioral challenges
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care principles
• Class 5 BC Driver’s License required
• Minimum one-year relevant work experience
• Effective communication skills with wide-ranging stakeholders
