Job Description Seeking a full time, Permanent Finance Assistant for the Accounts Payables area. This position will report to the Finance Manager Controllership.
Responsibilities process of invoices according to standard operating procedures, ensuring all invoices are processed within standard turnaround times, responding to queries from programs, scan/save/retrieve invoices along with its support, provide backup for other AP team members
ensuring payments are supported and approved according to established payment policies & procedures
process/supporting weekly payment run process and assisting with internal and external audit preparations

Qualifications The successful candidate will possess at least two years of Post Secondary formal education in accounting and/or Business Management with at least two (2) years of Accounts Payable experience.
The candidate will demonstrate superior interpersonal, communication (written and oral), problem solving, organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills.
Ability to demonstrate diplomacy, judgement, and initiative, while working under pressure to meet conflicting deadlines, requiring high accuracy.
Ability to clearly articulate financial concepts.
Ability to work with individuals from diverse cultural and social backgrounds is necessary.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software packages specifically Excel.
Previous experience using Oracle and an Access database is considered an asset.
Experience working in a hospital or health care setting is an asset.
Bilingualism (French/English) or proficiency in a second language would be considered an asset.
Salary Range: $29.67 – $36.57 per hour
