You will report directly to Community Care RN Case Managers, focusing on delivering high-quality personal care tasks while adhering to safety regulations and standards. Your role involves maintaining cleanliness, engaging with residents and their families, and advocating for client safety. Additionally, you'll collaborate with external agencies and participate in training sessions to continually develop your professional skills.
Key Responsibilities:
• Address resident and family concerns effectively
• Ensure a clean and safe workplace for clients
• Report any safety issues to the supervisor
• Work with agencies involved in residents' care
• Attend in-service training for skill enhancement
Requirements:
• Completed Health Care Aide program or equivalent
• Experience in senior care within community settings
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Basic Cardiac Life Support and First Aid certification recommended
• Current Vulnerable Sector Check or willingness to obtain
