The Salvation Army is looking for dedicated individuals to support women clients at Harbour Light’s Treatment Program. In this role, you'll provide essential emotional and practical support while facilitating group sessions. You are expected to create a safe space that fosters recovery and well-being for those you assist.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor client activities during awake shifts
• Support clients in acclimating to their environment
• Conduct follow-up checks and document observations
• Facilitate access to external recovery resources
• Report concerns to Treatment Management and Counsellors
Requirements:
• Related experience working with women clients
• Robust understanding of gender-based challenges
• Direct experience with recovery programs an asset
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Required Background Check clearance
Support recovery efforts and contribute positively to women's lives as a Peer Support Worker.
