Elevate early childhood education with Kwanlin Dün First Nation at Dusk’a Head Start Family Learning Centre. This role focuses on enriching the lives of children aged 18 months to 5 years through integrated programming and cultural learning.

Dusk’a is seeking Level 1 to 3 Early Childhood Educators to work on an on-call basis. You’ll engage with children in a culturally responsive workplace, fostering development and learning. Key skills include problem-solving, teamwork, and effective communication, particularly related to First Nations contexts.

Key Responsibilities:
• Implement recreational and life skills programs for young children
• Build trust and rapport with children and families
• Address individual developmental needs sensitively




• Collaborate on cultural learning initiatives
• Maintain safety and wellness standards for children

Requirements:
• Valid Level 1 to 3 Early Childhood Education certification
• Experience in child care settings for ages 18 months to 5 years
• Familiarity with Kwanlin Dün First Nation goals and culture
• Current Standard First Aid & CPR-C certification
• Required medical health checks and clean records
