Join the Child Development Institute (CDI) as an Early Childhood Assistant committed to nurturing young minds. This 35-hour, on-site role focuses on child supervision and program implementation.

At the Fraser Mustard Early Learning Centre, the Early Childhood Assistant will work alongside the RECE to support children's educational programs. Your main responsibilities will include organizing activities, updating attendance, and maintaining a welcoming setting for families. Flexibility is key, as shift assignments may vary to meet the center’s operational needs.

Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate a safe, engaging learning environment
• Assist the RECE in program planning and execution
• Supervise transitions during indoor and outdoor activities




• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the classroom
• Provide constructive feedback on child observations

Requirements:
• Certificate or currently enrolled in an Early Childhood Education program
• Valid Standard First Aid Certificate
• Positive relationship-building with children and families
• Flexibility to adapt to diverse needs
• Ability to manage physical tasks relevant to child care
