This contract role at the YMCA of the National Capital Region focuses on assisting high school students to develop significant social skills and regain their path in education. As a Youth Worker from September 1, 2026, to June 30, 2027, your work will include facilitating workshops and offering personalized support to students aged 12-17, all while collaborating with community partners.

Key Responsibilities:
• Intervene with students individually and in groups
• Lead daily workshops addressing social issues
• Help students with their schoolwork
• Ensure consistent communication with parents/guardians
• Maintain accurate records of student progress

Requirements:
• University degree in relevant field
• 2-3 years of related experience
• Proficient in English communication
• Familiarity with local community resources
• Access to a vehicle and valid work permit
