Reporting to the Coordinator, the Plant Operatoris responsible forensuring the safe,reliable, and efficient operation of processing equipment tomaintainoptimalefficiency within the assigned unit.

You will be actively adhering to the Cenovus policies, safety, operating rules, schedule agreements, attendance guidelines, and Government regulations.

While this vacancy is currentlyat Christina Lake North,thisposting could be used to fill vacancies at any of the Oil Sands Operations sites (Christina Lake,Christina Lake North,Foster Creek, or Sunrise, based on businessneed).

Work Environment: Foster Creek & Christina Lake This is a full-time employee position working a shift rotation Foster Creek and Christina Lakehasfull-service camp facilities Depending on your place of residence and your shift rotation, bus and/or air transportation to/from site is offered from designated departure points in selectlocations.

Foster Creek is serviced by flight Hubs in Calgary and Edmontonas well as bus transportation to site from La Corey, AB.

Christina Lake, Christina Lake North and Sunrise have service flight Hubs in Calgary and Edmonton.

Saskatoon will become a service flight hub effective September 1, 2026.

There will also be bus transportation to these sites from La Corey, AB / Lac La Biche, AB effective September 1, 2026.

Sunrise This is a full-time employee position working a shift rotation Sunrise islocatedapproximately100 kmnortheast of the City of Fort McMurray and is afly in/fly out remote camp-based position.

Cenovus will provide transportation to Sunrise from designated hubs out of Calgary and Edmonton At the Sunrise site, employees will beprovidedcomfortable campaccommodationsand recreational amenities Whatyoulldo: Perform operational rounds and conduct condition monitoring, including sampling and testing within the assigned area.

Document results through electronic log entries,interpretfindings, andmakenecessary operational adjustments.

Support the AWTs maintenance schedule by preparing equipment for planned work and following Cenovuss LOTO procedures.

Respond to process upsetsor alarmsandmaintainclear communication withrequired parties until resolutionis achieved.

Provide assistance, coaching, on-the-jobtrainingand assessments to new employees asrequired.

Support Cenovus Safety Culture through

Team initiatives such as thefrontline audits and inspections, Safety

Meetings,and Unit

Inspections.

Conductthorough

Handover

Meetingswith outgoing / incoming Plant

Operations staff.

Collaborate effectively within a team environment, building strong working relationships while alsodemonstratingthe ability to work safely and independently as a motivated selfstarter.

Whoyou are:



Our ideal candidate will have the followingminimumrequirements: Legally authorized to work in Canada Possess a 4th Class Power Engineer Certificate, with preference given to those holding a 3rd or 2nd Class Certificate.

Minimum1yearofrelevant experiencein SAGD operations.

Proficiencywith computers isrequired(experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, SAP, and a field data capture system would be considered an asset).

Strong technicaland troubleshootingskills to complement Power Engineering qualifications We acknowledge the value oftransferrableskills and may consider equivalent combinations of experience and education should you not meet a specific requirement.

As this position has been identified as safety sensitive, employment of a final candidate selected for this position will be conditional upon successful completion of required pre-employment medical and alcohol/drug assessments.

For this position you willbe requiredtomaintaina Class 5 driver''s license, a satisfactory driving record, and adhere to theappropriate Companypolicies and guidelines.
