The CNC Controls Technician plays a vital role in maintaining operational efficiency by diagnosing production issues and conducting preventative maintenance. In this position, you will report to the Maintenance Manager and leverage 5-7 years of experience with CNC controls, especially Heidenhain and Fanuc systems. Your technical expertise will also assist in onboarding recent equipment and training junior technicians for future success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose CNC equipment breakdowns and corrective actions
• Conduct preventative maintenance on CNC systems and auxiliary equipment
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and practices
• Aid in the installation of new machinery and upgrades
• Collaborate with maintenance team on parts sourcing and workflow
Requirements:
• 5-7 years of CNC technician experience
• Familiarity with CNC controls like Heidenhain and Fanuc
• Industrial certification (Electrician or Millwright) desired
• Strong analysis and problem-solving skills
• Skilled in reading technical drawings and schematics
