Reporting to the Sechelt Shelter Manager, this part time position will allow you to supervise the peer team and engage with clients in a non-judgmental environment. You will lead efforts to reduce stigma and empower clients, drawing from your lived experiences. This position plays a vital role in promoting safer consumption venues and creating supportive community resources.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the peer team at the Overdose Prevention Site
• Facilitate safer drug usage through community education




• Maintain user statistics and oversee peer payroll
• Work collaboratively with Shelter management
• Distribute harm reduction materials effectively

Requirements:
• Diploma in community social services
• Two years of experience in mental health and addiction
• First Aid and CPR certification required
• Criminal record clearance necessary
• Peer support designation is essential
