In this pivotal position, you will report to the Head Chef, ensuring that all meals adhere to dietary needs while being prepared safely and creatively. You will oversee daily kitchen operations and maintain high standards in food quality through prudent inventory management and effective teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare visually appealing meals daily for residents
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations
• Conduct regular temperature audits for food items
• Work collaboratively with kitchen personnel on meal service
• Help plan and execute special themed meal events

Requirements:
• Completion of a recognized Cooks Training program
• 2-3 years in large quantity food preparation
• Knowledge of Canada’s Food Guide and health regulations
• Food Safe Level 1 Certification required
• Demonstrated ability to supervise kitchen staff
