WoodGreen is seeking a Part-Time/Relief Youth Worker within its Shelter Program. Here, you will engage with adolescents at a 35-bed emergency facility, promoting inclusion and safety. Your experience in youth care will be essential, along with skills in communication and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities: • Provide direct client care and supervision in the shelter • Promote an inclusive setting respecting diversity • Conduct intake and discharge process for clients • Maintain facility safety through perimeter checks • Complete required documentation and reports
Requirements: • University or College degree in related field • Previous experience with homeless youth, preferably in shelters • Good communication skills, both verbal and written • Valid First Aid/CPR and aggression management certifications • Completion of suicide prevention training
