As part of the seasonal team in the Knúcwmens le Sxwixwéytemc Archaeology Services Ltd. (KSAS), you'll participate in field operations conducting surveys and assisting senior staff. This role ensures the collection and documentation of critical archaeological data, emphasizing teamwork and adherence to TteS policies. You'll engage directly with diverse environments while protecting the Secwepemc heritage.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in the execution of archaeological surveys in diverse landscapes
• Collect data through pedestrian surveys and monitoring
• Maintain detailed field records for cultural site protection
• Help prepare and organize field equipment effectively
• Follow TteS safety standards and protocols
Requirements:
• Experience in outdoor fieldwork or related studies
• Ability to obtain Level 1 First Aid certification
• Must possess a valid BC Class 5 driver’s license
• Clean driving record necessary for employment
• Knowledge of Secwepemc culture advantageous
