Join AgeCare as a Recreation Therapy Aide where you’ll actively contribute to the well-being of seniors through engaging therapeutic recreation. This role combines planning and executing programs tailored for individual needs.

Working closely with the Recreation Manager, you will assist in assessing residents' recreational goals and ensure versatile programming that respects their dignity. Responsibilities include documentation of participation, transportation of residents, and helping organize the monthly recreation calendar. Your initiative and interpersonal skills are crucial for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in identifying and updating residents’ recreation goals
• Ensure effective execution of therapeutic recreation programs




• Transport residents with provided AgeCare vehicle
• Assist with recreation planning and inventory maintenance
• Document resident participation as required

Requirements:
• RTA certificate or diploma is preferred
• Class 4 Drivers License or commitment to obtain it
• CPR & First Aid certification is an asset
• High energy and strong organizational skills
• Proficient in English communication
