Join YWCA as a dedicated Outreach Worker, mentoring youth while developing essential life skills. This full-time position is centered on advocacy and crisis support.
Reporting to the Youth Homes Supervisor/Manager, you will engage with youth aged 15-21, fostering a safe and inclusive environment. Your role involves case management and collaboration with various community resources. Successful applicants will demonstrate effective organizational and communication abilities alongside relevant human services experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide advocacy and referrals to youth clients
• Assess needs and establish personalized objectives
• Drive clients to appointments and activities
• Liaise with schools and community service partners
• Maintain program compliance and assist with documentation
Requirements:
• Relevant post-secondary education or experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Valid Saskatchewan Class 5 Driver's Licence
• Successful completion of background checks
• Robust judgment and professionalism
