Reporting to the Manager of the Adult Daycare, the Cook 2 is responsible for planning and preparing nutritious meals while ensuring all food safety standards are met. You will provide direction to junior cooks and food service staff, maintaining high cleanliness levels in the kitchen. A passion for food and service is essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and prepare daily meals and snacks
• Provide guidance to Cook 1s and food service workers
• Ensure cleanliness and safety in food preparation




• Handle purchasing of food supplies
• Perform administrative duties related to food service

Requirements:
• Completion of a 12-month recognized cooking program
• Valid Food Safe Certificate required
• Knowledge of food preparation and cooking techniques
• Solid communication and teamwork abilities
• Physical ability to perform cooking tasks
