Serve as a Community Health Advocate for the Tsartlip people, focusing on health education and resource access for members. Coordinate workshops and support holistic health initiatives.
In this role, you’ll engage with community members, promote healthy lifestyles, and assist with navigating health advantages. The position demands strong organizational skills in managing health-related programs and activities while adhering to program budgets. Collaborate with various health providers to enhance community services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and submit reports on health-related activities
• Book health workshops and coordinate member appointments
• Facilitate access to health services and resolve concerns
• Provide reliable transportation for medical and cultural events
• Develop community partnerships to improve health initiatives
Requirements:
• Completed Grade 12 or equivalent education
• Two years of relevant community service experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer applications
• Class 5 driver’s license with a clean record
• Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector criminal record check
