DDA invites you to become a Community Support Worker in Vancouver, BC, where your contribution truly matters. Support adults with developmental disabilities and engage in fulfilling community activities.
In this permanent full time role with DDA, you’ll help transform the lives of participants through engaging, community-focused programs. By providing support with daily living activities, you’ll foster independence and build personal relationships with program participants. Your work will have a direct impact on enhancing their quality of life through recreational and vocational activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create a welcoming program environment for participants
• Assist individuals with daily living and personal care
• Implement individualized support and goal plans
• Lead programs designed for varying abilities
• Facilitate outreach-based community activities
Requirements:
• Relevant degree or diploma in social services
• 1-2 years of related experience
• Positive communication skills preferred
• Criminal and medical record clearance
• Willingness to obtain a Restricted Class 4 License
