Join Horizons as a Youth Mentor in London, supporting youth engagement and transition to adulthood. This part-time role focuses on building essential skills and providing valuable resources.
You will work 22.5 hours per week in the Early Childhood, School Age, and Adolescent Programs, collaborating within Family and Community Services. This position calls for a adaptable schedule, including potential evenings and weekends, to effectively reach youth in various settings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with in-person and virtual youth service support
• Create resources for families with disabilities
• Organize events that build life skills for youth
• Facilitate youth councils for feedback and ideas
• Complete planning and administration tasks as needed
Requirements:
• At least 1 year post-secondary education in a related field
• Experience living with a disability
• Proven skills in Solution Focused Coaching
• Proficiency in communication
• Valid CPR and First Aid certification
