Become a part of Dze L K’ant Friendship Centre Society as a Culturally Grounded Early Childhood Educator. Work full time in Houston, British Columbia, enhancing children's early learning experiences.
The organization is looking for two qualified Infant/Toddler Early Childhood Educators to be part of the Friendship Centre Cub House team. This role emphasizes nurturing relationships with children and families while implementing culturally rich, developmentally appropriate programs. You'll play a crucial part in fostering a supportive learning environment that respects Indigenous values.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and implement engaging curriculum for young children
• Build secure, respectful relationships with families
• Support children's emotional and social development
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
• Participate in community events and family engagement
Requirements:
• Current BC Early Childhood Educator Certificate
• Infant/Toddler Educator Specialization Certificate
• First Aid Certification
• Knowledge of child development practices
• Medical Clearance and Criminal Record Check
