This part time position offers a chance to direct the Burlington Junior Redcoats and Student Theatre starting September 2026. You will be pivotal in selecting music, leading rehearsals, and coordinating community performance events. Your role also includes mentoring band members and directing musical direction in preparations for various performances, emphasizing both skill development and event management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direction and coaching during rehearsals
• Plan and execute community engagement events and parades
• Collaborate with chaperones and parents for program support
• Ensure day-to-day operations and rehearsal scheduling
• Address inquiries and manage registration processes
Requirements:
• Diploma in Music or equivalent teaching experience
• At least 2-4 years of relevant conducting experience
• Required Standard First Aid and CPR C

• Criminal record clearance with vulnerable sector screening
