As a vital part of the Parks, Recreation, and Culture department, you'll oversee cleanliness and safety across various facilities, from libraries to community centers. Your responsibilities include routine maintenance and ensuring compliance with municipal policies while engaging in ice surface operations and repair tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform general maintenance on community facilities
• Manage ice surface operations and upkeep
• Conduct seasonal tasks like grass cutting and snow removal
• Ensure compliance with cemetery operational standards
• Assist with administrative equipment setup
Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 12 or GED
• Minimum two years’ relevant experience
• Willingness to work wide-ranging hours
• Basic Arena Refrigeration certification an asset
• Valid Ontario driver's license and reliable transportation
