Become a vital part of the Dinos Athletics as a Men's Hockey Field Therapist at the University of Calgary. This role involves injury management and athlete care during games.
As a recurring part-time therapist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining athlete health and performance. Your responsibilities will include assessing injuries, administering first aid, and assisting athletes in their recovery process. You will collaborate with the medical team and coaches while also ensuring compliance with safety protocols and documentation standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Pack and manage medical kits and supplies
• Follow return-to-play protocols for athletes
• Assess injuries and provide first aid treatment
• Document all medical actions and athlete communication
• Support athletes entering the medical system when necessary
Requirements:
• CATA-certified Athletic Therapist with valid membership
• BLS certification and Sport First Responder qualification
• Secure Sport training proof required
• Experience in therapeutic exercise and rehabilitation
• Flexibility for evening and weekend engagements
