The City of Surrey seeks a Community Service Attendant 3 to manage programs and events. This full-time role requires robust planning and organization skills in a community center setting.
As a Community Service Attendant 3, you will implement, promote, and evaluate various programs such as workshops and entertainment activities. Supervising staff, maintaining safety standards, and developing promotional materials are key responsibilities. This position requires a commitment to excellence in community service delivery and participation in ongoing program evaluation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and schedule community programs and events
• Supervise instructors, volunteers, and junior staff
• Maintain safe and clean program areas and equipment
• Assist in ordering and monitoring supplies
• Support development of promotional materials for programs
Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 12 with post-secondary education
• 2 years of related supervisory experience
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving history
• Emergency First Aid and CPR C certification
• Strong organizational skills within cultural organizations
