Join the Resort Municipality of Whistler as a Skate Host at Meadow Park Sports Centre. Ensure safety and quality service while managing skate rentals and operations during busy sessions.

This casual position reports to the Guest Services Coordinator in the Recreation department. The Skate Host is responsible for providing exceptional guest service while upholding ice area regulations and assisting guests with skates and helmets. Candidates must be available for flexible shifts, including weekends, and show a commitment to customer care and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
• Control use of the ice area during skating sessions
• Provide skate rentals and ensure proper equipment fitting
• Enforce safety rules and regulations effectively




• Offer basic first aid to guests when necessary
• Maintain cleanliness and organization within the skate shop

Requirements:
• Strong ability to skate is mandatory
• Guest service experience is a strong asset
• Hold a current Emergency First Aid certification
• Multi-tasking capabilities in dynamic environments
• Promote an inclusive and cooperative workplace
