In this role, you’ll report to the Executive Director of Indigenous Engagement and Initiatives. Your work will involve greeting visitors at the Gathering Place, providing administrative support, and collaborating closely with both the IEI and IUP teams to respond effectively to student needs. You’ll play a key part in fostering a safe and supportive campus environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage front desk activities and inquiries
• Engage with students and direct them to resources
• Oversee the Gathering Place’s community kitchen
• Organize meetings and maintain records
• Support budget tracking and financial processes
Requirements:
• Two-year diploma or equivalent preferred
• At least 3 years of experience in admin support
• Understanding of Indigenous reconciliation principles
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
• Robust written and verbal communication skills
