Help vulnerable youth navigate life's challenges as a full time Youth Navigator at CMHA Kelowna. This dynamic role includes outreach, support, and community resource access.
You’ll work closely with youth aged 16-24, facilitating their transition into adulthood through personalized guidance and skill development. The role involves effective communication with participants and collaboration with service providers to create customized plans addressing individual needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct needs assessments through interviews
• Develop case plans with health service providers
• Assist participants in achieving life skills
• Document participant progress and feedback
• Advocate for resources like housing and financial aid
Requirements:
• Diploma in Community/Social/Human Services
• At least 1 year of related experience
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
• Clean Criminal Record Check in the Vulnerable Sector
• Strong organizational and communication skills
Support the youth of Kelowna by fostering independence and access to essential services.
