Warehouse Associate – Delivery & Equipment Support

$50,000–$55,000/year | Full-Time | Permanent
Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–4:00 PM | 30-minute lunch
About the Role
Wagonmaster Group is looking for an experienced Warehouse Associate to join our Kitchener team.
This is primarily a warehouse and shipping/receiving position. You will be responsible for receiving, organizing, picking and preparing customer orders, maintaining inventory, and keeping the warehouse running efficiently.
The role also includes occasional local deliveries and helping with basic equipment preparation. You do not need to be a mechanic—we can train you on our equipment.
We're looking for someone who is reliable, organized, hands-on and comfortable working in a busy warehouse environment.
What You'll Do
- Receive, unload and organize incoming products
- Pick, pack and prepare customer orders
- Maintain accurate inventory and warehouse records
- Load and move products, drums and equipment
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized and safe
- Prepare orders for customer delivery
- Make occasional local customer deliveries
- Help prepare equipment for customers
- Use basic hand tools when required
- Assist with basic equipment maintenance and preparation
- Communicate inventory or customer issues to the Warehouse Manager
The majority of your time will be spent in the warehouse. Delivery and equipment responsibilities are secondary parts of the position.
What We're Looking For
Warehouse, shipping/receiving or inventory experience is preferred.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving or inventory experience
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Experience picking, packing, receiving or preparing orders
- The ability to work independently and stay productive
- A valid driver's licence and a good driving record
- The ability to lift approximately 50 lbs repeatedly
- Comfort working on your feet and in a physically active environment
- A willingness to occasionally make local customer deliveries
- A practical, hands-on approach to work
- Basic experience with hand tools is an asset
- Forklift experience is an asset
You do not need to be a mechanic or have previous experience with our equipment. Training will be provided.
Requirements
- Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving or related experience preferred
- Valid driver's licence
- Able to lift approximately 50 lbs repeatedly
- Comfortable working in a physically active warehouse environment
- Reliable and dependable
- Able to communicate effectively with customers and coworkers
- Forklift experience is an asset
