This full-time role, reporting to the Legal Supports Supervisor, focuses on helping Indigenous clients navigate legal and community resources effectively. You will collaborate with a dedicated legal team, aiding clients with case management, referrals, and ensuring support throughout their healing journeys. Strong communication and organizational skills will be crucial as you engage with clients and communities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the Client Service Team on legal strategies • Stay informed on housing and mental health service wait lists • Facilitate connections to food security and family resources • Assist clients with documentation and form completion • Maintain communication throughout the legal process
Requirements: • 1-4 years experience within Indigenous communities • Minimum 3 years in social or community agencies • Knowledge of trauma-informed care approaches • Proficient in MS Office Suite • Valid BC Driver’s License required
