Responsibilities Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on all production and facility equipment and systems Assist with troubleshooting all mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems Troubleshooting PLC Programs and Programmable Controllers Conduct equipment inspections as required or as outlined by the preventative maintenance schedule to detect and diagnose issues Report detailed records of work performed to Management Contribute to plant upgrades and improvements Requirements Must hold a valid provincial certification as a Journeyman Electrician Journeyman Industrial Mechanic/Millwright or equivalent experience is considered an asset 5 to 7 years experience in a heavy industrial environment Strong troubleshooting/problem solving skills with the ability to clearly communicate Strong Electrical and PLC experience is essential Experience in the maintenance of overhead cranes is considered an asset Welding tickets considered an asset Available to work shifts on a versatile basis including short notice of overtime As a member of the OSCO Construction Group, Strescon Limited offers a comprehensive compensation package including health and dental coverage, life insurance, RRSP and tax-free savings account options.
