We are looking for an Accountant - Revenue and Commissions to join a real estate and property organization in Vancouver, British Columbia.

This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for an accounting specialist who excels in a high-volume environment and enjoys working through detailed revenue and commission activity with accuracy and sound judgment.

The successful candidate will support brokerage-related accounting operations, contribute to cross-functional collaboration, and help maintain reliable financial records and timely payment processes.

Responsibilities: Manage the recording of revenue and commission transactions in line with applicable accounting standards and internal controls.

Review and process a large volume of financial activity, including deal-related entries, journals, payment support, and daily cash deposit records.





Prepare commission payments and complete reconciliations to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to reporting deadlines.

Interpret broker agreements and assess commission arrangements, split structures, and related adjustments for proper accounting treatment.

Respond to questions from brokers and branch teams by providing explicit, timely support on accounting items and transaction status.

Assist operational teams with deal tracking processes and resolve day-to-day issues tied to revenue and commission workflows.

Participate in testing and validation activities connected to Dynamics 365 to support accounting process improvements.

Work closely with colleagues across the accounting team to manage peak workloads and provide coverage where needed.
