As a casual Occupational Therapist working one day per week, you will provide critical assessments for clients recovering from injuries or illnesses. Your role involves working closely with a supportive team to enhance clients' driving capabilities through personalized rehabilitation programs. You'll honor each client’s journey with empathy, whether they are obtaining a new license or reevaluating their driving future.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform driving assessments in clinical and on-road settings
• Assess vehicle access for clients with mobility challenges
• Develop goals and recommendations for client growth
• Oversee and plan individualized driver rehab programs
• Complete comprehensive assessment and vehicle prescription documents
Requirements:
• Good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario
• Relevant experience in acute or community rehab settings
• Creative and self-directed professional mindset
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient with current computer applications
