Become a Dual Diagnosis Expert at AMHS-KFLA in Kingston. This six-month, full-time position includes providing tailored support to adults with mental health issues and developmental disabilities.
You will lead assessments and treatment interventions, using a client-centred approach to promote recovery and independence. Collaborating within a multidisciplinary team, you'll help clients develop necessary skills for effective community integration and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive assessments for dual diagnosis clients
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Facilitate service coordination and community integration
• Provide leadership and expertise in treatment planning
• Abide by the Agency's vision and established protocols
Requirements:
• University Degree in a health care discipline
• Minimum three years’ experience with dual diagnosis populations
• Familiarity with addiction issues and crisis interventions
• Ability to work flexible schedule, including weekends
• Valid Ontario Driver’s License required
