As a Floater, you will engage with youth in both the Wellington and Manhattan Place homes, enhancing their day-to-day experiences through structured support and relationship building. You'll implement trauma-informed practices while encouraging independence, educational growth, and community integration.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver consistent trauma-informed care and support
• Assist with daily tasks, skills building, and appointments
• Create opportunities for recreational and educational activities
• Facilitate youth interactions in the community
• Nurture positive behavior and personal development
Requirements:
• Human Services Diploma or Degree
• Experience in youth work or related community services
• Familiarity with Indigenous youth and cultural practices
• Proficient crisis management and communication skills
• Valid Driver’s License and background checks
