The City of Markham is hiring Theatre Technicians to support its diverse programs at the Flato Theatre. This part-time role involves 24+ weekly hours, primarily around show schedules. Candidates should be experienced with MA lighting consoles, AVID audio consoles, and QLab, and will play a key role in technical stage work and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct technical stage work including lighting and audio setups
• Assist in setting up, running, and striking shows
• Maintain security of the theatre and its technical equipment




• Follow health and safety protocols in all tasks
• Work collaboratively with performers and production staff

Requirements:
• Experience in a similar technical theatre role
• Knowledge of MA lighting and AVID audio systems
