We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to support the assembly, installation, and testing of mechanical components and automated equipment within an automotive manufacturing and industrial automation environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with mechanical assembly, interpreting technical drawings, using hand and power tools, and working safely in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

- Perform mechanical assembly of components, subassemblies, machinery, and automation equipment according to drawings and specifications.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, mechanical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions.
- Install mechanical components, brackets, guards, bearings, shafts, fasteners, and related equipment.
- Use hand tools, power tools, torque tools, and measuring instruments safely and accurately.
- Perform fitting, alignment, adjustment, and fastening of mechanical components.
- Support the assembly and integration of automated machinery, production equipment, and automotive manufacturing systems.
- Inspect completed assemblies for proper fit, alignment, workmanship, and compliance with specifications.
- Identify mechanical issues and assist with troubleshooting and corrective adjustments.
- Follow established health and safety procedures, quality standards, and manufacturing practices.
- Maintain an organized work area and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with technicians, electricians,



machinists, engineers, and other production team members as required.

Qualifications

- Previous experience as a Mechanical Assembler, Machine Builder, Assembly Technician, or similar manufacturing position.
- Experience working in automotive, automation, machine building, or industrial manufacturing environments is preferred.
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and mechanical assembly documentation.
- Proficiency using hand and power tools and mechanical measuring equipment.
- Knowledge of mechanical components, fasteners, bearings, shafts, and basic machine assembly principles.
- Robust mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to perform accurate mechanical fitting, alignment, and assembly work.
- Experience with industrial automation equipment or custom machinery is an asset.
- Ability to identify and assist in resolving mechanical assembly issues.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a manufacturing or automation team.
- Ability to perform the physical duties associated with mechanical assembly work.
